Practitioner Profile
My first love with complimentary therapies came in early 2000 after having experienced Indian Head Massage whilst on holiday. The treatment was quite profound for me and started my interest to train in this therapy myself.I enrolled with the London Centre of Indian Champissage and qualified in 2003.
A while later, having experienced Reflexology and its benefits, and reading about it, I felt compelled to learn this therapy as well.
I subsequently gained my Reflexology diploma in 2006 through the Association of Reflexolgists who have many training schools throughout the country, and remain a fully insured member with them.
My particular interest is in Stress and its possible causes to ill health and weakness to the immune system. Especially within the workplace environment. I believe that complimentary therapies given to help relax stressful employers or employees during their time at work may be very beneficial.
At the present moment I have the privilege of being a voluntary therapist with the Havens Hospices Complimentary Therapy Team. My time is spent at Little Havens in Thundersley, South Benfleet, giving treatments to parents, carers and staff.
Training
I have attended the following seminars and continue to gain CPD:-
Ayurvedic Reflexology, ART, VRT, and Maternity Reflexology.
Location
My practice is based in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex. I also offer treatments as a mobile therapist within the Southend-on-Sea, Hadleigh, Benfleet, Rayleigh and surrounding areas within Essex.
