Practitioner Profile
I trained in Essex gaining my Association of Reflexologists diploma in 2006. Since then I have been practicing at my home giving treatments in a relaxing and serene atmosphere. In 2009 I trained in ART (Advanced or Alternative Reflexology Technique).
I am a member of the Essex Reflexology Group and I am registered with the Complentary and Natural Healthcare Council.
My work also includes working voluntarily within the Complementary Therapy Team at our local adult and children's Hospice.
My practice is based in Leigh-on-Sea, but I also offer an on-site Reflexology and Indian Head Massage service for businesses in the Southend-on-Sea, Hadleigh, Rayleigh and surrounding areas.
Reflexology in the Workplace
My experience has shown that massage in a workplace environment may help to reduce stress for busy employers and their employees.
I have been practicing reflexology in Leigh-on-Sea at home over several years. I have also practiced mobile reflexology in Southend-on-Sea together with Indian Head Massage in Rayleigh and surrounding areas.
Time is precious in a busy environment, but when a little of this time is spent on helping others to relax and de-stress, this must be a positive benefit for the welfare of staff. I quote below some of these benefits as stated in the Association of Reflexologists' pamphlet on 'Reflexology in the Workplace'.
Indian Head Massage in the Workplace
The simplicity of having Indian Head Massage in the workplace is that the client need not remove any clothing and that it can be can be performed whilst the client is seated at his desk if requested.
My main passion is to promote Reflexology and Indian Head Massage within the workplace in Leigh-on-Sea, Southend-on-Sea and surrounding areas, i.e. Rayleigh, as I believe this work to be invaluable in today's busy and stressful life, especially in the business sector.
